In Mountain View with Google

4Q SuiteI have had the pleasure of attending the GACP (Google Analytics Certified Partners Summit) conference yesterday and today, an invitation-only event aimed at Google Analytics Partners (and power-users) where our company’s product, 4Q Suite, was selected to be one of only 1o App developers to set up a booth/table and present their products.

Last night was the “Google Analytics Partner Summit Competition”, where each company had the opportunity to give a 5 minute product demo/speech,  followed by 2 minutes of questions from a panel of judges (GA Product Leadership). I went 5th of 10, so there was no hope of getting it done first and then relaxing. Nope… the nerves really kicked in when the first guy started speaking. No stress in presenting to 500 people, plus assorted Google employees, directors and staff, right?

All seems to have gone well, however, as the judges decided that our product, 4Q Suite, was the winner of the competition and would not only get bragging rights for the next year, but would be the featured app on the Google Analytics App Gallery for a not-too-short time in the future.

Pierre (the guy who came down with me) recorded the whole thing, so I’ll be uploading it to the 4Q YouTube channel and embedding it here later on.

Oh yeah…. I also won a Samsung Galaxy Tab…. pretty cool!
